Hello, I’m Alex Kostov, an Art Director based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I have over 24 years of experience in creative design and have been running my own design studio PRO2TYPE, for several years. My career spans from leading Art Direction at New Moment New Ideas to shaping Creative Direction at Scholz & Friends and driving marketing at FoxLaser, a metal manufacturing company.
Ever since I felt the impact of visual language, I‘ve never stopped thinking about what could make it “better”, how things I see or hear affect me and shapes my perceptions. In my work, I strive to create designs that communicate, guide, and inspire – free from fleeting trends or personal ego.
I believe design is a language that should be seamlessly perceived, evoking thought discovery and admiration through harmony, elegance, and balance.
At the heart of my exploration lies user-centric design, where clarity, engagement, and intuitive experiences define effective communication. For me design’s true success isn’t just in its aesthetics but in how seamlessly it guides, informs, and resonates with its audience.
By prioritizing user needs, every visual element becomes more than just decoration – it becomes a meaningful experience that enhances understanding and connection while serving its purpose.
